7 Advance menu

[Advance] menu includes error rate monitor, CN monitor, constellation view, spectrum view and time doMain view.

The view of error rate monitor is shown as Figure 7-1,

The date of the error rate monitor is related to the error rate of Monitor in the Main or Slave page. They come from the same function and are the same type. The error rate monitor will show the last 300 times error rate, one time means the error rate of one period, the monitor will stop if auto update stops.

The view of CN monitor is shown as Figure 7-2,

Data of CN monitor is related to the CN of Monitor in the Main or Slave page. They come from the same function. The CN monitor will show the last 300 times data. The monitor will stop if auto update stops. Click the text right of the "CN max", input the max value of coordinate; Click the text right of the "CN min", input the min value of coordinate, the CN value recorded before still work, and will plot to the right location base the new value.

The view of constellation view is shown as Figure 7-3,

After select the max value of coordinate by click "Max", select a file by click the text right of "File", and input the value of I and Q right of the "Column", press "Plot" to plot the date in the coordinate, press "Clear" to clear the coordinate. If "Hold on" is selected ("√" before "Hold on"), means it will plot on the old figure, or plot as a new figure.

The view of spectrum view is shown as Figure 7-4,

The data of it can come from C script function or data files, a "√" will show at the left of the selected item, the one which isn't selected is disable.

• Select function at the Function combo when you use C script function.
• Click the text right of the "File" to select a file, click the text right of the "Column" to input the I and Q.
• Click the text right of the "X-max" to input to a few points to stop printing. (print content not included this point)
• Click the text right of the "X-min" to input from the first few points start print. (print content includes the point)
• Click the text right of the "Y-max" to input the min value of the Y axis, float.
• Click the text right of the "? dB/div" to input the dB(1~20, int) number of every lattice.
• Click the text right of the "Average Number"to input the time of averaging operation(1~100, int).
• Click "Plot" to plot the result of FFT.
• Click "Re-plot" to plot in a new setting(do not read the file), If not click "Re-plot" or "plot" after modifying the setting, it will not work.
• Click "Clear" to clear the figure.
• Click "Save" to save the figure into a specified file.

The view of time doMain view is shown as Figure 7-5,

First click the text right of the "File Select" to select a file. Select up to 9 signals (signal can duplicate selected) to show in the file. Click the box left of the 1~9 to select it (add a "√" after selected). There will be 5 columns can operate after selected (Column, Expression, Style, Color and Base).

• Click the text under "Column" to input the signal's column number in the file.
• Click the text under "Expression" to input expressions, if needn't to compute can input "+0". The multiplication of the expressions can change the range of the signal, and the substruction of the expressions can change the vertical position. You can display multiple signals without overlap by set right expression.
• Click the combo under "Style" to select the style for signals, can choose a bus, dot or line.
• Click the combo under "Color" to select the color for signals.
• Click the combo under "Base" to select the base signals, there are dec, hex and bin.
• Click the text right of "X max" to input to a few points to stop printing. ( print content includes the point ).
• Click the text right of "X min" to input from the first few points start print. (print content includes the point)
• Click the text right of "Y max" to input the max value of Y axis(float).
• Click the text right of "Y min" to input the min value of Y axis(float).
• Click "Plot" to plot the result.
• Click "Re-plot" to plot in a new setting(do not read the file), If not click "Re-plot" or "plot" after modifying the ymin or ymax value, it will not work.

If select dot for "Style", every data corresponding to a point, the data from file put into the expression to compute a result as the value of the Y axis.

If select line for "Style", means connecting all the dot and will not to plot the dot.

If select bus for "Style", plot as a bus, and will show the value of the dot in the lattice(The data form file with compute by expression, shown by specific base), If the number of data which need to display is too large, may can't show all data, just show the front part. The range of the line on the top of the grid is the result of the expression which computed by 1; The range of the line on the bottom of the grid is the result of the expression which computed by 0. The content between the x dot and x+1 dot is the content of the x dot.

Note: The expression only includes "+ - * /" or digital, the expression of the first character must be the arithmetic symbols, down input must meet the four arithmetic expression can only contain rules. For example: * 30-10
