5 Config file

This chapter introduces the format of the config file, recommend not to modify the config file except you know well about the config file format. Save configure by the [Save config] in the [File] menu.

The config file makes up by [Global], [Button], [Indicator], [Trace], [Monitor], [I2C Set], [Advance], [Segment], [Bit Register] and [Word Register]. The red word means the content in the example, need to be replaced by the actual content. Content after "//" is directions, does not need in the congfig file.

There are Main page and Slave page in the HiChannel, corresponding independent config file;

5.1 [Global]

[Global] section uses to save config information of global:

[Global]    //Identifier

Chip=12    //Name of chip, the character after "=" will shown on the top of the window.

Version=0.1    //Version number, the character after "=" will shown on the top of the window after chip name.

AddrBytes=1    //Byte count of chip address, setting to 1 when address line is 8, and setting to 4 when address line is 4.Note: AddrBytes range is 1-4

OffsetBits=4    //Offset address bits. Note: OffsetBits range is 1-4

RegisterBytes=1    //Byte count of register, setting to 1 when width is 8, and setting to 4 when width is 32.Note: Register Bytes range is 1-4

CSRun=E:\HiChannel\demo-script|app1#E:\HiChannel\demo-script2|app2#    //C script file path list must be used between the C script different paths separated by a "#" after the file path is defined in the joint compiled execution file name must be unique, No script file path must also add "|" logo.

CSIncludes=E:\HiChannel\header1|E:\HiChannel\header2|#E:\HiChannel\header2|#    //Dependent header files in C scripts path between multiple paths with "#" are separated on the the C script same path need to introduce multiple header files between different header file path with "|", No header file path must also add "|" logo.

Note: the C script file path the C script file extension must be ".c" or ".C".

5.2 [Button]

[Button] section use to save config information of button:

[Button]    //Identifier

Button 1=FunctionName|Caption|Paramnum|param1,param2|Remind|isReturnValue    //The config of first button.

¡¡¡

Button configuration instructions

5.3 [Indicator]

[Indicator] section use to save config information of Indicator:

[Indicator]    //Identifier

Indicator 1=FunctionName|Caption|Type    //Config of first indicator.

Indicator 2=FunctionName|Caption|Type    //Config of second indicator.

Indicator 3=FunctionName|Caption|Type    //Config of third indicator.

¡¡¡

Indicator configuration instructions

5.4 [Trace]

[Trace] section use to save config information of trace:

[Trace]    //Identifier

Trace 1=FunctionName|Caption    //Config of first trace.

Trace 2=FunctionName|Caption    //Config of second trace.

Trace 3=FunctionName|Caption    //Config of third trace.

¡¡¡

Trace configuration instructions

5.5 [Monitor]

[Monitor] section use to save config information of monitor:

[Monitor]    //Identifier

Lock Time=FunctionName    //Config of lock time.

Symbol Error=FunctionName    //Config of symbol error.

Carrier Error=FunctionName    //Config of carrier error.

Signal Intensity=FunctionName    //Config of signal intensity.

Signal Quality=FunctionName    //Config of signal quality.

C/N=FunctionName    //Config of C/N.

Error Rate=FunctionName    //Config of error rate.

Monitor configuration instructions

5.6 [I2C Set]

[I2C Set]    //Identifier

Chip Address=0x3F    //Address of chip in I2C set.

Large FPGA=0x30    //Address of large FPGA in I2C set.

Middle FPGA=0x1F    //Address of middle FPGA in I2C set.

Small FPGA=0x33    //Address of small FPGA in I2C set.

I2C Communication=FunctionName    //Communications detection script function,Format:¡°app name#method name¡±

Selection Item=Small FPGA    //Selected item.

Note: The address in I2C set saved as hex.

5.7 [Advance]

[Advance]    //Identifier

Spectrum Function=FunctionName    //The C script function selected in Spectrum view,Format:¡°app name#method name¡±

Timer Period=300    //Timer period, unit: ms

I2C Speed=400    //I2C speed, unit: kHz

Auto Update=Yes    //Automatic updates.

Stop Auto Update=No    //Stop automatic updates.

Bit Register=Yes    //Register with bit format.

Word Register=No    //Register with word format.

5.8 [Segment]

[Segment]    //Identifier

Number=16    //The segment number of register, must match the count of segment base addresses.

00=I2C    //Format: segment baseAddress(hex)=segment name

10=MAN

20=AGC

¡¡¡

F0=RSD

5.9 [Bit Register]

Show the information of registers of all segment, expressed in bits. Define several bit of a register as a new register. Show the segment baseAddress at the head of the segment first, then list the registers of the segment. Blank a line when one segment finishes, until all registers of all segment are listed.

[Bit Register]    //Identifier

[00]    //[baseAddress], it should be defined in the [Segment], otherwise invalid.

Number=8    //The register count of the segment(dec).

00[14: 9]=6'd55      |c_IF_max    //[offset address]=[bit count]¡¯[radix][defalut value] | [register name]

01[24:19]=6'd35      |c_IF_min

02[ 7: 0]=8'd43      |c_agc_set

¡¡¡

[10]    //[baseAddress], it should be defined in the [Segment], otherwise invalid.

Number=4    //The register count of the segment(dec)

00[14: 9]=6'd55      |c_cbs_test    //[offset address]=[bit count]¡¯[radix][defalut value] | [register name]

01[24:19]=6'd35      |c_cbs_xxx

5.10 [Word Register]

Show the information of registers of all segment, expressed in words. Define a word(as 1 byte when RegisterBytes = 1) as a new register. Others are same as [Bit Register]

[Word Register]    //Identifier

[baseAddress]    //It should be defined in the [Segment], otherwise invalid.

Number=8    //The count of register in the segment (dec).

[offset address]=[bit count]¡¯[radix][defalut value] | [register name]

The format is same as Bit Register, but the start and end of the offset address are [8*RegisterBytes-1:0]
