2. Interface and basic function

The figure below shows the main interface of the HiReg connected to the Hi3716C device through the serial port.

2.2.1 You can open the HiReg perspective via menu bar or perspective switch tool is below.

2.2.2 In the selection dialog, select the target perspective which you want to show.

• 
  • Function: import chip files
  • Description: Import chip manual application file to be imported must be correct zip file , otherwise , can not be imported.
• 
  • Function: show memory clears execution dialog.
  • Description: show memory clears execution dialog, with which you can clear the memory easily.
• 
  • Function:executing a script
  • Decription:analyze and execute the script
    The script must match definition as below:
    
    • comment line must start with "#"
    • one command, one line
    • ignore empty line, that is, you can insert empty line to the script
    • executable line must match:"Address=Value", what is more, Address and Value must be hex number with prefix "0x".
      You can put blank to the two sides of "=", but it is not a better way.
    • The file extension is ".data" as default.
